Welcome to the South Queensland District of the Wesleyan Methodist Church 

We are passionate about helping people in their quest to know and experience God and are building Churches that are seeking to touch their community with the love of God. It is exciting to see people experiencing God, whether for the first time or over and over again.  This should be the norm, for the bible is clear that we were created to know, to experience and to enjoy God forever.  This is at the heart of the message that we share – that you can know God and live a life that makes a difference. As Jesus said ‘I have come that you may have life and have it in its fullness’ John 10:10b. (NIV)

The Wesleyan Methodists of Australia are a part of a wider church that is connected together under the name The Wesleyan Church, and are found in over 80 nations. In 2011, worldwide Sunday morning worship attendance was 475,000 persons in more than 5,000 congregations. Worldwide total membership was 368,000.

Here in Australia our people come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and communities.   While we celebrate our diversity, we also acknowledge the values that hold us together such as: our love for the word of God, the bible; our commitment to Christlikeness; our passion for disciple making; our call to servant leadership.
